SARS E-Filing 2021/22

I submitted on the 27/06, got selected for audit. Got a letter about the audit and verification of banking details. what does this mean? how will they verify my bank details?
 
They seem to like paying refunds on at the beginning of a weekend. My last 3 or 4 were received on a Saturday morning. Anyone else noticed this?
 
All these refunds. Does anyone have to paid in money?

In 2010 I had to pay them 14 cents. I will never forget that :cautious:

You should just be able to update your banking details on Efiling
- Home
- SARS registered details
- maintain SARS registered details

Check to see that your bank account listed there is the correct one and that it's valid
You may also need to go to the "my tax products" section of that same form and make sure the correct bank account is linked.
(this form is called the RAV01 and it's pretty irritating to use. Take note that whenever you complete any given section of the form, you need to click the "done" button in the top rhs of the page before carrying on. Once you have completed all the sections, you can click the "submit form" button at the top)

If you're lucky, SARS accepts this, but It's possible they will want to further verify.
 
I submitted on Thurs, and have been marked for verfication. To expected though, I pay for family medical aids where I am not the member, and I made large section 18a donations, so they owe me a proper refund.

Let's see how hard they make this.

I have updated it, and had the call to verify it already last week Wednesday. So I am not sure what more they want to do.
 
I am getting a message online via my PC, Proxy Error. I cant access my information on the PC format. What is going on?

This should be work on pretty quickly this year.
 
The mobile app keeps kicking me out as well. I filed my return on the 27/06 but now it says its "SAVED"

Always pay in ... prefer not to loan SARS money during the year. In the nineties once owed them R1,24 .. paid with one cent pieces in person at their head office in Cape Town.
 
My "Original Assessment 2022" apparently only happened on 01/08/2022 (I submitted on 04/07/2022) and my refund was paid on 12/07/2022.

Interesting how SARS can see into the future :p
