SARS eFiling 2022/2023

After reading up on the subject, I believe I should have ring-fenced the rental loss for this tax period as it would have been my 3rd year in a row with a loss. I will do that for the next tax period to avoid all this additional back and forth with SARS. I will not be making a rental profit anytime soon.

Do a cashflow to show reasonable chance of making profit in the future, then they shouldn't ring fence it.
 
As a provisional tax payer I left it to the last moment this year :p

Submitted on 1/22 and was finalised with a refund of R20k today YAY!

Still no issues from SARS side detailed excel with significant crypto movements and zero issues - has been zero issues for 5-6 years with these

payment received today quick and easy
 
Weird issue- one previously submitted and paid irp6 disappeared on my efiling. I have proof of payment, but form no more shows on efiling! There is just the number "1" and empty space on efiling where that submitted irp6 used to be.

Had issues before while trying to open the empty irp6 and irp12 forms on efiling. Eventually clearing cache and changed settings helped. Win 10/Chrome.

I now get the irp12, fill it in, all seems happy until i press submit. Then it says "unexpected error occurred, please contact us".
So i tried again. I just suddenly got logged out for no reason while halfway.

Filled in again from the start. All fine till i click on "submit" and declared. Then shows error again, ask to start over or contact them.
When starting over all the previous info i filled in was wiped.

Edit: I tried the suggested clearing cookies etc as suggested on various sites. Nothing helped to make it past the final submit and declare stage.

Eventually did efiling from my android cellphone using the app.
This did the job.
So happy now i can relax!

Never had issues with a verification before.

Today they requested exactly the same documents as they did a month ago.

I sent a letter saying tell me what you want as its the same documents which were uploaded again.

100% the same list again >_<

Hi all, I see some talk of TaxTim so looked at their site a bit.
Is the price you pay on there a yearly sub or is is a once off buy?
Also, is it worth it?

SARS finally completed the verification of my return. Refund incoming. Yummy

Once off per filing
You do all the work - i.e. fill in tax related info (some info auto pulled as it is on efiling)

They are worth it im my experience -
they are a check to ensure return filled correctly and they do assist if there are issues (again you do all the work but they do assist [you dont have to call the call center and wait 4 hours etc ).

What they are not - "someone" that does everything while you do nothing. They are limited regarding complex financial/tax structures. Some of the Robo checks are lacking...
