SARS eFiling 2022/2023

Under services I dont have any complaint button, just a bunch of headings and explanations. Used 3 different browsers, they range from no tabs to some tabs, but no complaints option.
On the left side there should also be a menu with a bunch of options below your MyProfile button.

Sars website .. login with your efiling credentials

Top menu — Services — click
Then Side menu — Complaints — click
Then Submenu — New Complaint

Then fill up required fields

Still waiting for our friends at SARS to verify my bank account details. It's been "84 years", no I lie, it's been almost 45 days now. Strangely, every Saturday, I get the same notification that verification is still in progress and should be resolved in 10 working days' time.
 
SARS owes me money. I started an RA with Sygnia at the end of 2022 but it doesn't appear in my auto-assessment. Clicking "dispute" doesn't help, it just takes me back to the Returns Issued page. Does anyone know what I should do?

Read the auto assessment notice.
Do a request for correction and add it in.
Double check its not on your IRP5.

I don't think the request for correction option is available. Could this be because my tax return has already been assessed?

The funny thing is that when I click on "Third party data certificate search" , my RA and the monetary value I put in is recorded.

I still have to do the yearly "please Sable, it's been three months, can I get an update on my tax submission" thing.
 
My understanding is we're all supposed to be getting auto-assessed right? (regular non-provisional taxpayers).

I haven't received a thing from SARS yet
 
I have never needed to submit a return before as my only income is PAYE taxed before I even get it. But recently got an SMS from SARS saying I have an outstanding return. So I tried to register for eFiling for the first time. And now after about two weeks after uploading my documentation to register I get an email telling me taht my eFiling registration case was unsuccessful. And to please refer to email for further details.

The problem is that is the entire message in the email.

"Dear Taxpayer, Your eFiling registration case was unsuccessful: redacted. Please refer to email for further details. SARS."

Will there be another email coming with details of why my account creation failed?

Received a follow up email stating :
EFILING REGISTRATION OUTCOME
The South African Revenue Services (SARS) would like to thank you for registering for eFiling. Unfortunately we are
unable to verify you. Please visit your nearest SARS branch in order to complete the eFiling registration
process.
 
Jeez Louise.
Logged a dispute, after filing way back in July. Still waiting for any feedback from SARS. System says it has been assigned to a SARS official, but nothing yet.

My assessment did not include donations, made to a registered PBO (actually I donated to 2, and only the amount for 1 was used in my refund calc). I logged an objection, or request for reason, as this has been standard practice for the last couple of years with no issues before, same PBO's.

I did get the refund promptly, but without this in the calc, and it can come in handy if they decide to include it.
 
What should I do if I cannot edit my auto-assessment? Options like "request for correction" don't appear for me and I'm not sure why :(

@syntax - any movement or success after filing a complaint?

SARS is working on the case. It requires manual intervention and should be looked at by November 15th.....
That is what I got back
And I know, that when they finally look at it, I will then have to submit supporting docs etc and wait more

Very frustrating
