You are giving me hope . Filed on the 26/07/2023. Uploaded documents the same day. No feed back yet. for next month.

So I pulled a SOA now.... and see sars just added interest. My ohhhh my, think my 2023 submission starts to look like a real ombudsman case.
 
Still waiting for any movement on the dispute that has been logged because some SARS employee believes I should pay CGT on the entire selling price of our last house, ignoring what we paid for it, the improvements we did and that my wife and I owned it together. At least my application to suspend my obligation to pay the ridiculous amount they calculated was successful...
 
@syntax - After my 5th attempt and again waiting (and refreshing to stay logged in) for 58 minutes, I got hold of an agent. Short of the long, we are going to wait. Up to 90 WORKING DAYS. See the screenshot of the agent's response below.

Optimistically hoping you have had some feedback, I am still on radio silence for them to even look at it.

Another 3 hours at SARS ... and just another escalating case number.

@syntax - I'm afraid I have no updates for you. Total silence. Since my chat-line interaction, I am still awaiting them to review.

My advise, if its a review, allow 21 days. If its a dispute, and they say wait 60 days. Once interest are added, moer toys!
 
And I am done and dusted for the year! Someone at sars actually took the time to review my submission correctly!

I'm about halfway through my 60 day period and I'm still waiting for someone to be assigned to my case.

I was in the same situation like you .. filed 7 July .. no audit / verification. 9 July sars asked for supporting docs . Sent the docs 10 July … got docs received confirmation letter 11 July. And never heard or received anything after that .over 60days. Till I lodge a complaint Monday 11 Sept. and boom 12 Sept got completion letter and finalized letter. This morning or A.M money is in my account, Sars paid me . All it took was to lodge a complaint.

So just lodge the complaint.. log to sars website, under services menu there is a lodge a complaint option.

Last year was the first time I got verified but it took 3 days to finalise / complete my case . This 2023.. it’s taking too long ..I haven’t even got a message that my case has been allocated yet. Nothing . But let’s wait and see.
Finally got paid after waiting over 60days . And only because I lodged a complaint on Monday 11 Sept 2023.

Under services I dont have any complaint button, just a bunch of headings and explanations. Used 3 different browsers, they range from no tabs to some tabs, but no complaints option.
