Just under the return before you open it has a button refresh.Grrr, i keep on getting this error:
Please note that this tax return was not processed because SARS could not match pre-popped 3rd party data to the submitted data on the return. Refresh your data on the return and resubmit or visit the nearest branch for assistance with your return.
Thanks, I tried that. Same message.Just under the return before you open it has a button refresh.
Click that tick all the boxes and try again
Tried this but it didn't work. So i had to send the whole picture of me holding a page with the case number written on it with a copy of my ID and bank letter. So now another 21 days wait starts.I had the same issue when filing season just opened. I basically just re-declared my existing banking details on the ITR12. There's steps on how to do it early in the thread.

Ok, so I made a dispute, turn around time is 60 days! Lol!![]()
I think that's 60 business days.
What I dont get. My wife’s tax was also a mega mess. I objected. It was sorted out in 24 hours. And payout (refund).
Does sars pay your refund even if you owe them... i cannot remember. My wife submitted her return, she is owed some money, but she also owes them money (like 20% of what she is actually gettig refunded). Do they deduct their portion and then pay the balance? Or must she first pay the 20%?

Finally, after I actually stopped giving AF (they had exceeded the 21 days and I had even filed a complaint) - today, I get this. F yea!Day 13/21 - it's crickets from the Audit/Verification office. They took their docs, assigned the case and it has been radio silence since.
72 hours if not selected for audit/verificatoon or after you get the Finalization letterDo we know the amount of working days between submission and payments by SARS?
On MyBB SARS Thread.I made now a complaint for poor service.
Got a reply in 2 min : Rejected (its still within their service level) L O L
Where can one complain about super bad service ?
They'd said 21 days to me to get to the complaint. Only after that are we allowed to approach Tax Ombudsman apparently.Ok, so I made a dispute, turn around time is 60 days! Lol!![]()
Was paid out on 8th Aug (Thuesday)I suppose that was that
Selected for audit / verification: N
/awaits "refund"
I submitted my supporting documents on 14 July. Received acknowledgement of receipt of the documents. Nothing then until this morning when I received an email that the verification is complete without any changes.I submitted my supporting docs 10/07/23. On the 11/07/23 Got confirmation of receipt letter for docs , stating my case will be allocate to sars official and sars aims to finalize cases within 21 days.
Till to dates, I haven’t received anything from Sars, nothing just silence.
Tried to call last week to get the progress .. entered case number. Response was thanks for submitting your documents. Call dropped after.
Checked SOA no changes .. still showing same Refund amount … and it’s still says Not selected for Audit, yet they asked for my supporting docs
Anyone in the same position as me?
