Never had issues with a verification before.

Today they requested exactly the same documents as they did a month ago.

I sent a letter saying tell me what you want as its the same documents which were uploaded again.

100% the same list again >_<

Is verification and audit the same?

They are giving me stress with the verification. They keep asking for more documents. Granted, I made an error on my original submission when I tried to do it myself and they sent me a heavy bill. Conveniently, they did not see a need to verify anything then.

yes and no >_< they can dig deeper with an audit but I was audited last year and submitted all the same info as verification.

Once off per filing
You do all the work - i.e. fill in tax related info (some info auto pulled as it is on efiling)

They are worth it im my experience -
they are a check to ensure return filled correctly and they do assist if there are issues (again you do all the work but they do assist [you dont have to call the call center and wait 4 hours etc ).

What they are not - "someone" that does everything while you do nothing. They are limited regarding complex financial/tax structures. Some of the Robo checks are lacking...

Today's statement showed R0 balance with an electronic refund dated tomorrow. So I'm assuming tomorrow should be kaching day

Keep getting this error even after refreshing the data multiple times. Do I have to go into a branch?

"Please note that this tax return was not processed because SARS could not match pre-popped 3rd party data to the submitted data on the return. Refresh your data on the return and resubmit or visit the nearest branch for assistance with your return. "
