SARS eFiling 2025/2026

Played on Taxtim with their new Beta site <still a work in progress> and managed to submit on the 22nd already.
Got selected for Audit on the 23rd.
Case allocated on the 26th.

Oh happy days, I just logged in and got my auto-assessment ... FINALLY!!!

Good luck to anybody else still waiting. It seems now that they've paid the first batch of people, they're doing a second batch of auto-assessments.
 
Yeah no auto assment here yet, I did change medical aid maybe thats why :(

Let's see what happens when they roll out more.
 
10x still haven't issued tax certificates so I don't even have the option of being auto-assessed...

I got this mail from them on 2 July 2026.

Yesterday: received sms saying SARS has sent you Income Tax assessment
Today: sms saying a tax refund of R****.** has been released
Today: R****.** deposited into my bank account.

:cool:
 
Got to ask, why 2027 in the title, is that when you expect the refund?
