See you next month bro
Nice.Wonders never cease, my refund was paid into bank account this morning, 3 1/2 days after allocation to SARS official.
2026 SARS journey
They asked me to submit supporting documents on 15/7/2026 for verification and I done so the same day.
I received a notification today that I have been allocated to a SARS official and the verification process has started.
So is it 21-days from now or 21-days from the 15th?
Yup, I'm scraping too.I guess I better scrape together the amount, so you can all get paid.
Your ass and wallet must be burning nice. Seeing all that money go to the thieving ANCYup, I'm scraping too.
I just paid VAT at the end of July. Must pay PAYE by Friday the 5th of August.
Then start saving up to pay 2027 Provisional Tax (1st Period) before the end of August.
I told my daughter how many times a year I pay tax and she didn't believe me!
Told her, every month its PAYE/UIF, every second month its VAT, and twice a year its Provisional Tax.
I run our business as a Sole Prop.
You're in a worse boat than IYup, I'm scraping too.

The rich, pay tax? Nope!Just burns my butt having to do provisional.
Was speaking to someone recently, he is a ceo/shareholder/owner of a company he doesn't have to do provisional, thought that if you were owner of company you are automatically required to do provisional ? (and yeah I was moaning about sars paperwork)
I have an external bookkeeper that has been doing my work (VAT) every 2 months since 1993, capturing all the data into Pastel.Just burns my butt having to do provisional.

So, on the same day (30/07) I was allocated to an official I received 'Finalised Without Changes' and 'Completion' letters.
I should then be owed a refund (per my latest Statement of Account) but the refund status on the portal says nothing is due.
Am I still waiting 21-days? Because everything was given all clear am I in the 72-hour window (expecting payment tomorrow)? Will we ever find out? Tune in next week for another whine post.
As I paid... HmmmmOkay, I can stop moaning now. Refund came through this morning.
Me too... my arse still burnsAs I paid... Hmmmm
Only a pleasure... I mean...
I am a day before you and it is still busy with the official. I am not sure if they going to do the full 21 working days.
