The idiotic commentary, the uncoordinated police action, the looting, the violence, the smiling gangster complete with one front tooth missing and sunglasses...

No, they are just in the wrong province, Midvaal is in Gauteng where Sasolburg is in the Free State province, so no they cannot coincide a muni that cross borders.

Sasolburg does form part of the Vaal Triangle, which is just an area and nothing official in government.

Then whats their problem I wonder? It would be ANC run municipalities integrating. Not even provincial boundary changes which could possibly be protest worthy.

From what I can gather they want to merge the Sasolburg/Parys municipalities, and the Parys municipality is broke, so Sasolburg would have to carry it.

Uncomfirmed though is that they want to run it all from the Pary side which is really rather daft.
 
Police and shotguns, whats the problem here? It total civil disobediance, step on it hard.

They didn't because our incompetent mayor did the ANC thing. He promised the Bronkies squatters and people in informal settlements free houses/electricity and water.

Why can't the protest peacefully? Why burn and destroy everything? I mean the library of all places. It’s just a sad state of events.
 
Provincial Leadership must go and address the community. Police must arrest all hooligans.
