Science Must Fall? - UCT Fallist discusses Decolonization

DUMB and DUMBERER Ver 2.0.
What year are those students?
And they call themselves future leaders.

Need a Kickstarter to have Dawkins come out here and sit on on this ****...Degrasse Tyson is too nice for these idiots (though he'd probably be less likely to kick off a riot).

All very well and good trying to rid the university of Euro-centrism (before you all jump on me for this I'd wager most of you know a damn-sight more about Europe/great Europeans than you do about the Middle-East, Asia and South America).

But with science you'd ultimately converge on the same thing given enough time. I sure as hell am not going to toss out 600 years of scientific knowledge and start over from basic experiments and philosophy just to come to the same answers. The best thing to do with science is take it and run with it, contribute and eventually leave your own mark on scientific history.

I only have one question, how the hell did they get admitted to an institution of higher learning in the first place????

I wish gravity never existed so fools like this would simply float away.

It really is astonishing.

The crazies alway want everyone to adopt to their stupidity. Just move to Zimbabwe or Central Africa already lots of decolonisation going on there.

Western science started more than 600 years ago

Yeah it's it's pretty much irrelevant before then. A mechanics textbook will have maybe one or two sentences on the Ancient Greeks before kicking off with Newton's laws.

You are only looking at one side of science. What about the wizards...I mean chemists?

So in African Newtonian science, please explain to the class what is holding that desk to the floor and why it weighs X amount. Please explain this without using any current Newtonian physics.

Protip: You can start by dropping a plate of pap out the window, that will give you some clues.

Of course you can just make up whatever African scientific rules you want now because those racist colonial western concepts such as burden of proof and the scientific method no longer apply.

Knock yourself out.
