To be fair, we have a lot of 'educated' people in South Africa who skim over science when it suits them. what is the difference between believing in black magic and believing in religious teachings?

Really, anyone who believes the earth is a couple of thousand years old and was made by a god is being a hypocrite if they laugh at these people in the video. They are all equally deluded (not an attack on religion, just on the uneducated who choose to believe contrary to scientific findings)

For just the small sum of your life savings you can get muti that will make you immune to nuclear radiation. After the nuclear holocaust your life savings won't help you, but being immune to radiation will keep you alive. It's only logical!

Hey, it's up to you. But to me it's a contradiction and having belief in Western religions is just as silly a position to take as believing in black magic and muti.

The real problem is not that these people think like they do, but that they are in a position to try and pass off their superstitions onto the rest of us.

So I'm saying that I think it's funny that religious people laugh at them when their own beliefs are just as ridiculous and unscientific.
