Modern science is about solid theories extrapolated from as few postulates as possible. That's pretty much the reason the Greeks don't get much "airtime" in modern textbooks relatively speaking.
I don't deny the knowledge possessed by ancient Europeans and non-Europeans, but when it comes to theories that explain a vast range of phenomena, and predict new phenomena, there's no comparison.

As far as science goes, no. I don't know what they are proposing for other fields but if it's anything like the stuff the numpties in this video are spouting then no to that as well. Add to the knowledge you already have, don't take away from it IMO.

This incident highlights just how ludicrous the idea of "decolonisation" is. With many other academic subjects she'd be able to talk her way in circles for hours and hours and get half the world to defend her by eventually shaming logic and reason into a corner. However, choosing science as a subject to illustrate to the world the essence of this "decolonisation" scheme was probably the finest way to showcase its ridiculousness. Too funny and good luck with your cause.

The way the one person who disagreed with this nonsense was shamed into an apology is disgusting. The hypocrisy of shutting down any opposing opinion while claiming to be a safe space free of antagonism, yet behaving extremely antagonistically toward anyone with a differing opinion and clearly making them feel anything but safe to voice their views is classic SJW twisted logic. And she called it a "progressive" space. Exactly how progressive is a space that proposes throwing out the entire lexicon of scientific knowledge just because you don't like the skin color of those that predominantly laid the foundations?

If you feel like certain points of view/works by certain academics aren't given enough exposure by all means add them to the courses offered by the university, add books to the library. Provided of course isn't complete nonsense like witchcraft.
But don't throw out perfectly good knowledge just because it came from Europeans. And for goodness sake don't burn down buildings. Thery are your universities too now. You can reshape them sure, but you don't have to destroy them first.
