Dissapointed, since new users sign up my average speek dropped from 327Kbps to 230Kbps, I'm on a 384Kbps line.

i'd have been disappointed if you had a 384 line and were getting these speeds.
I am currently in the 20 KB/s range.

I had a 512 kb line about 3-4 months back - but the double cost didnt justify the 1/3 increase in speed. Pity my exchange doesnt support 4mb.

Ok there are just too many pages to go through. So from your experience. Is this a good deal? do torrents work normally and are the speeds fine? does your line drop form time to time? need to know all the answers guys. Is it good with online gaming?
 
No. It's kuk judging by all the feedback and people not being reimbursed their money.

I can't recall many calls for refunds in this thread. Also, there are no positive feedback whatsoever in this thread?

OK then, here goes ... I have been getting decent speeds during the course of the week. Torrents running at 30 kB/s. Only real complaint from my side is the public IP thing.

I have been getting decent speeds as well - with the exception of today where it was +- 20KBps.

I've signed up to Screamer for the past week or so and have got very varied performance. Using the 384k Uncapped Account.

But I'll just mention what is happening with the line right now instead of the past few days.
Today, http speeds are very varied. Web surfing is average - very close to ISDN speeds. Downloading from Rapidshare (Payed for account and not free) is a joke though. It hits the b/s range ( 7684 b/s to be exact ), while at the same time torrents are ranging between 20kb/s - 34kb/s on a well seeded torrent.

I've included 2 pics for you all to examine:

This ping test was tested several times and the results have been different but mostly the same.

To be honest, if things don't improve I'm jumping ship. But since I've already paid for a month subscription, I'm going to use as much as I can from it and test it out some more.

It's amazing how much you have to say about Screamers ADSL without ever having had an account with them.

I suppose they must be doing something right to have you trolling their thread.
