Hi guys,

I would just like to know a few things;

1) I currently have a Telkom number. Can I port my number across to Screamer? (Theoretically, it should be no problem - the law allows it now)

2) Can I connect to Saix news server?

They have had VoiP as part of their offering for a long time now - not sure where they are with providing external numbers.

Telkom is not allowing porting of its telephone numbers ....yet.

For clients who want to keep their Telkom number but want to use our service to take advantage of our low call costs we suggest the following.

1. Keep your Telkom line but apply for their low usage rental option which works out at about R270 p.a. You will then be able to still receive calls on your existing number

2. Apply for a Screamer telephone connection without a number and we won't charge you a line fee but you will be able to make calls through our network at our low rates.
