Selling - just like that!

I'm not surprised to much, seems like mweb was only big in the dial-up. With the broadband kicking in, they have seems to just given up competing (when last did you get someone here go "try mweb, they are great!")

I find it interesting that vodacom (and now possibly MTN) just buy their way into wimax, almost as though that was the idea all along. Make some money off the wimax rather than allocating it to the giants who would use it. Wonder if mweb would be worth as much without that.

So are they now going to improve their service or is it going to go downhill from now on?

Everything was about monopoly the more money in their pockets the better. But these days their is competition which the shareholders do not like.
NeoTel,iBURST etc.....

Dial-up at R150 a month is madness.
