Serial Port Sniffer

Im looking for a piece of software that can sniff serial port traffic, like wireshark does for Ethernet traffic.
Ive found a program that works (eltima serial port monitor), unfortunately its not free and the "magic license" does not work properly.

This is for windows 7 64bit. Ive tried most free programs, however they do not work in windows 7 64bit

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I used http://www.aggsoft.com/serial-port-monitor.htm a few years ago. Worked well. But it did stuff up some of my device drivers, so best to image your drive before using it.

I used the free download, not sure what the difference between the trial and paid version was again. But I used the trial just fine. Was the previous version 3 though.
