Just because I'm generally sensible, it doesn't mean I don't have my moments. ;)

Milan getting Huntelaar is GREAT! Pato doesn't need to lead the attack (at least he doesn't need the to have the pressure of must-score on his shoulders). I reckon this is a brilliant signing. Now just some defence. That Onyewu was crap in the last game I saw (today against Boca Juniors) and he isn't Milan quality. How the hell do they go from Baresi and Co to what they have now. Utterly ludicrous.:(

I reckon its the wrong option. Fabiano was the better option. Huntelaar is a great finisher but relies on service especially crosses. I don't currently see where that's going to come from. I still don't see them as stronger than either genoa or napoli for those cl spots.
 
Weldone KDS. Rocchi scored a great goal. I was happy how we played just lacked the finishing which will come. I also think samuel-lucio will be better than chivu-lucio. Overall I am upset because we lost but not about the performance.
 
Nice game, Inter were definitely the better team on the day but Lazio took their chances well. Rocchi's goal was sublime!

Loved Eto's finish as well, this guy was born to score goals I tell yah. Ballotelli impressed on the wing after coming on, as did Suazo. The commentator kept mentioning that theres about 4 or 5 Inter players who will be showed the door in the summer, must be concerning with the new season around the corner.
 
They will leave by August 31. The problem is this season the serie a starts early because of the wc. Usually only starts last weekend of august or 1st weekend of september. But there's still things to be done. I expect at least 3 of the 5 to leave hopefully all 5 and 1 or 2 players to be added.

I am happy for Lazio, this is not a new cycle for us - how could it be with Lotito in charge - but it is nice to add some silverware in our cabinet. To be fair Inter did dominate, but Lazio took their chances.

Inter played better than I thought they would, it does not seem that they will miss Zlatan all that much, which I thought they would. In Eto they have something special, I think he is going to do well for them.

I saw Juve got hammered 4 - 1 by Villarreal! That's a bit of a shocker, let's hope it was a once off, otherwise Serie A is not going to be as close as we thought.

Lastly I see Lippi didn't select Cassano, now that is just farcical! :mad:

Inter,juve and milan tomorrow night 20:30 on ss 3. Its the normal 45 minute season friendly trophy.

Jose is giving a lot of the youngster a chance and resting the internationals so I don't expect us to win but should be funny seeing the youngsters.

Milan and juve have also called lots of youngsters. The tim trophy is sort of an unlucky charm. If I remember correctly only something like 2 sides have won it and gone on to win serie a that season.
 
Saturday: 18:00 Bologna vs Fiorentina and 20:45 Siena - Milan. Both games live on rai international. Will update sundays games and super sports games when they are released.
 
Ok got confirmation for the last 2 games of the weekend. Sunday 18:00 Inter vs Bari and 20:45 Juve vs chievo. Both games live so that's 4 live serie a games from rai i for us. Also friday 20:45 serie b with empoli-piacenza.
 
Poor performance from the boys. Bad tactical switch by mou should have taken of one of the attackers after going 1-0. 4-2-4 was fine when trying to break the bus bari had setup but he should have taken one out instead of replacing matrix with cordoba.

Bari did impress me a lot. They were very well organised. I suspect they will do well and stay up.

Not a good start but we started off slow in the previous two season and generally we tend to play better away from home for some reason.

Milan were good vs siena.

He is past it. There are two players who play his position who should come cassano and balotelli but lippi seems unwilling to pick them. I guess alex is better than nothing but I would still rather take mario or cassano.

hmmmm Cassano has a chance but balotelli - unless he cleans up his attitude this season he won't be at the world cup... so which leaves Italy with who?

What you think of Girlardino and Toni and Iquaita? I think the first two should be dropped...

Didnt know they were showing the games live on Rai.Thats cool because i was disspointed that supersport were showing all the games delayed.Looking theu the DSTV guide they showing 4 delayed games from the weekend today.
Question : Is Rai international english ?

Pato is brazilian. Great players have difficult characters at times if lippi doesn't want to pick cassano or mario because of that it will be italy's loss.
