Yesterday I installed Server 2012 with GUI and I am struggling with the default gateway setup. On the client computers the primary dns is pointed to the server ip, but the client machines don't get internet unless the secondary dns is set to the router upon which the default gateway is setup. This to me means that using the server for internet provision is not working IMHO. On the server, the IP I assigned, is followed by the right subnet mask and the DNS and default gateway are set to the router through which the connection first comes in. Now, we are using Kawuleza which has it's own ip which comes into a WiFi router (DHCP enabled) which defaults to 10.0.0.2.
I cannot get internet on the client machines at all using the server IP, what the heck am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your answers. 2008 R2 worked a lot easier it seems...
