It looks like the server move to Johannesburg was successful, but it will be great if you can test all sections of the site and report any problems which you may encounter.

It will also be great if you can do a few searches in Google to make certain we did not unknowingly break some URL structure (this happened previously with the forum archives).

If you find any problems please report them in this thread.

Your help here will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

RPM

Hi rpm
I've just spent 20 minutes clicking on every conceivable link on the site, and done about 10 searches in Google, and can't seem to find anything broken. I stayed away from the tK, though, 'cos it scares me.

Thank you very much for the help - really appreciate it. Lets hope everything continues to work as expected.

What was that? Glitch in the matrix there for a second? It kicked out the PHP sourcecode for me...

// ### ALL DONE! SPIT OUT THE HTML AND LET'S GET OUTTA HERE...

Tried accessing forum and first try game me a whole lot of source code...looks like it working now

Me too. The images don't appear to have loaded either.

Redirection should be better now - can you please check and give feedback?

Yeah, i was redirected to myadsl.co.za/vb instead of mybroadband.co.za/vb. Thats how i came up with the code.

Seems to be redirecting correctly now

Now just for a moment guys picture the scene if this was Telscum doing a server move  .... we can be very glad that it's RPM and Co. and that any issues there were, were minor ones :D

Just had some weird issue trying to log in ...... just kept reloading. Went to mybroadband.co.za and accessed the forum from there .... no problems. Maybe it was just my bookmark huh?

Latency to the site from the Vaal has improved from an average of 45 ms to 15 ms:)

where was the site? Guess my latency to the site wouldve increased?

I'm pretty new to the forums. But everything appears to be working as it should.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /usr/www/users/mybroad/404.php on line 1

I got this when clicking the terms and conditions link on the forum rules page.

Edit: That's with Firefox, I get 'page not found' if I use IE explorer.
