Hi guys

I'm helping a friend resetup his network. They use a Telkom DG834GUv5 (10.0.0.2) as the primary ADSL router and for wireless, and a DLink DIR-615 (10.0.0.254) to extend the network (via cable). They have been having some issues with the ADSL, so I am lending them my DLink DSL2500U (to handle the ADSL) to see if it helps alleviate any problems. Can anyone instruct me on how to set all three devices up correctly, with regards to which one should act as the DHCP server (currently the Telkom) and any other settings I might have to change on the Telkom router to fully disable ADSL, properly spread internet to the DIR-615 etc.

I fiddled around last week quickly and ended up with only internet working through LAN cables to the Telkom, so want to make sure I put all the settings in correct first time!

Thanks in advance :)

Oh yes, also all devices are have their gateways set to 10.0.0.2

How many computers would you like to access the network?

Through the Telkom there is 2 or 3 wired, and one or two wireless devices. Through the DIR-615 there is 3 wired and a couple of wireless devices as well.

Hi There,
You can also get some connection details here.

You also mention that you are having ADSL problems. Care to expand a bit on that?

Regards Tim
