Hi guys
We are considering calling a Special General Meeting well actually as many SGM's as needed until we succeed in removing the garbage that are our trustees.
1 I understand the Special General meeting must be called within 14 days after the demand is made is that 14 working days or all days?.
2 My understanding is that the SGM is held at a time and a place of the chairs choosing?
Can we insist it be held where we want if we have more people?They have many units between them and outvote us with a couple added proxies but can we dictate to the venue as we outnumber them 2 to 1.
3 If after 14 days they do not call it we can set our own date time place.How long a period of notice must we then give for this new date?Is there a minimum period of notice required?.
4 Is there a limit on the amount of sgms you can call?
5 Say the meeting is set for 6.00pm and too few show when can it be called off?half an hour?

What? If you're wanting to change trustees you're going to need the majority vote, also I don't think a trustee can vote to keep themselves in place. Also contact the owners who normally give the trustees proxy and get them to give you proxy.
Contact your managing agent, a lot of this would need to be organized by them.
