My point exactly....until I got a 1080p smartphone and realised the difference is quite noticeable!! Especially when reading text and viewing photos.

But probably not worth it to just upgrade on the basis of having a new and slightly better screen
 
Looks like I'm not the only one anxiously awaiting the release of the S4 :D
 
Im counting the days till the launch - sold my S3 a week ago and just cancelled my Vodacom contract - porting over to Cell C on launch day

I'm excited because I am due for an upgrade. But wondering if it's really a big jump going from my S3 to the S4. I am worried that the differences will be so marginal that it will be disappointing like with the iPhone 4 4s 5 story.

You might be disappointed, cos all the flagship phones run Jellybean, so nothing ''new'' software wise.

If the S4 was running Key Lime Pie, aka Android 5, it would be different.

what no LTE is this a hardware or software problem cause one of the things i really want is LTE, was one of the reasons i really wanted a new phone and backing the s4. On board storage isnt an issue for me, i plan to fit a 32g sd card in anyway and the story about color is refreshing since i really liked the look of the black s4.

If i do get the s4 it will be a Huge step up. I have a bb9300, yes laugh as much as you want, i fell into the bb trap, it is almost 3 years old now so an upgrade is well deserved. I complain about LTE cause i have 3g on this stupid bb and well its reception is better than most phones surprisingly but not good enough at times, Really would be nice to have LTE

Do you think the S4 will get android 5. Know this is opinion at the moment but i have no experience with android and compatibility. Did a little reading everyone thinks android 5 will be announced and probably released around may. Would be a huge appointment if the s4 didnt get android 5, it has the quad core processor to support it

It will get KLP, it's just a question of when. I doubt it will make it for the release though.

Also, the s3 will probably get KLP as well, but later than the S4.
 
Knowing Samsungs... the battery is likely to be hot anyway, so not a completely unreasonable remark :D
