Thanks. We've hit the occasional snag (*shakes fist at Lurker*), but we really want to build a strong, friendly raid guild of fellows, cohorts and friends who are keen to delve into the guts of WoW. We've progressed rather quickly up to this point and hope to keep the momentum going.
Right now, specifically we need healers to help us push 25man as fast as possible. As Unbreak sez, we realise we cannot expect to pull well geared folks who are in endgame guilds already, but we do realise that individual skill and maturity is far more important than gear. Gear we can help get for you (we're still farming Kara for badges and some drops), but your own ability and dedication you have to supply.
While Bull has stated that we are primarily looking for Paladins (primarily for raid stacking buffs), fact is we'll seriously consider *any* healers, be they priests, shamans or druids.
We also have a couple dps slots open but filling them isn't really a priority.
Just some info that da bawss did not supply, for anyone interested ->
*status : T4(KZ and Gruul) on farm, ZA 3/6, starting T5 in earnest this week (last week was exploratory).
*We raid 3 nights during the week for progression(this might get bumped up to 4 occasionally), then farm stuff (Karazahn and ZA) on the weekends. Usually. Sometimes this may vary a little, but largely not.
*Raid times are 7 till 11 on weeknights, and whenever people can make it on weekends (usually Sat and Sund. afternoons)
*We use Suicide Kings rather than conventional DKP for 25man raids, and loot council/rolls for 10man.
*Right now 100% of our members are South African (or at least
Southern African, we have a couple token Nambabweans
) , with some SA guys in UK atm. We'd like to keep it that way which is why we've posted on local boards rather than spam Trade Chat, but will be bringing in foreign talent if we can't get the required numbers/class balance from local recruitment.
*We gots a new site wut is kinda pwetty, got forums and use PhpRaider for signups, so we're pretty much organised.
*We have a zero drama/emo policy, and I'm quite proud to say it's worked up to now, with zero gquits or gkicks (hope to keep it this way) - as far as I can tell, our members are all, more or less, relatively happy.
