You on the wrong thread here Bos. This is for people that do their own investing. Fund Managers are too expensive and might churn your account to into a TRADER account whereby your gains will be income and not CGT.
Disclaimer: marco talks schit. He lies. He often gives fraudulent advice. His claims about his background have been confirmed as lies. Most threads that he gets involved in revert to derails correcting him. Even if what he posts appears to make sense, rather ignore it and wait for it to be confirmed by someone else. Admittedly, I have not read the above post, as moving forward I will not turn each thread into a twenty-page marco specific corrections argument. Take what he says with a large pinch of salt...
It is up to the readers of this thread to to make their own decisions. I have gone out my way to post and explain a website that has charts to assist them. Why would I lie about this please?

Thanks a lot. Yeah CML definitely had a spike in the latter part of Jan but has since corrected and looks to be steadily climbing which is great. Nota share I would be in any hurry to sell.

If so, yes, PNC did have "window dressing" just before close on year end to make the Fund Managers books look good. Hence the big gain during the last few minutes before close. This is quite normal and has now corrected.
If you look at the volumes traded during the day. Around 1000 to 4000 and dropped to 10 ,4 and 1 just before close. This is typical before year end as the Fund Managers buy/sell at low volume to get the price up.
You can google it if you want.
PNC has not yet priced in the great results coming out this Wed.

While I appreciate info and advice rest assured that having worked in the financial world my whole working life
including many years in the JSE I am not easily influenced by people that have a vested interest in any particular
share or category of shares.

I find it interesting and quite amusing that certain forum members that are most critical and negative on certain threads contribute absolutely nothing positive to the subject matter being discussed. Considering their immense knowledge of the subject being discussed it is curious that their posts are not filled with brilliant suggestions rather than negativity.
Oh well I suppose when people are bitter and disappointed that they were unable to be successful in life forums enable them to express that bitterness and disappointment by showing other forum members that they have language skills and are capable of using sarcasm.
If you want any respect you need to earn that with meaningful contributions not be running down people that are making an effort to contribute.

You'll find that the only threads in which a distinct lack of interest in the subject matter is shown, are those where [-]you[/-] marco has obliterated the thread already. Search this forum and you'll find considerable advice in all threads where marco does not participate.
His involvement is indirectly proportional to the quality of the advice given...
