I don't know hey...how much different is it really to buying your lamb from the butcher and braaing it at home compared to buying the actual sheep and doing the same thing after slaughter?

Religion doesn't even need to have anything to do with it really.


Now if we are talking about 10's of sheep that hang around for days on end waiting in line that is a different story but I would go after it for doing business from home at scale rather than blame it on religion.

I'm not muslim or religious but have attended Eid celebrations and have no problem with it.

The scale would be the problem, not the ritual itself.


This is much the same as animal lovers who still eat meat as long as it comes in a nice sealed package from the shops. You need to choose a side and accept some realities.

Hygene sure valid and i agree with - you can cater if you have a large enough place and get permission - which i gather from the article this guy didn't.

Yeah but it's not in a residential area and on top of houses. They are generally in industrial areas.
