He doesn't understand the concept of implication.

If it doesn't say something in perfect black and white how can it possibly imply something for the reader to assume themselves.

I suspect he doesn't understand tact either.
 
Is it the slaughtering of the animal or the braai afterwards that is enjoyable?

A combination of factors (bleeding one of them), you cutting the windpipe and the Jugular.
all this happens in seconds but something like jugular and windpipe cut, lack of oxygen for brain, brain sends last single to heart that pumps faster blood pumps faster gushesh out jugular, but by then animal is in a coma for lack of oxygen heart stops and done.

I just find it so amusing that he dances around things and pretends to be clever and only ever just ends up tying himself in stupidity knots.

Being relatively agnostic, bells i can tolerate but not the 5 times wailing that seems to happen louder and louder these days. And can't tolerate firecrackers in 'burbs either.

You haven't lived near one of those backward happy-clappy Christian churches then.

Our local one used to have pa-blaring sermons at night and loud, loud singing at any time.

It all ultimately ends up being about the Noise Pollution bylaws in the area. If it breaches those then its not acceptable, if it doesn't then there is nothing a person can do even if they're unhappy.

I do understand the mosque thing, I used to live about 4kms from a Mosque in Durban and could constantly hear the call to prayer from the place. For me it wasn't loud enough to be a nuisance but what about the people who lived closer, I can only imagine it must have been nearly deafening.

I live near a school that sometimes hosts a happy crappy church service.

I would rather have sheep murdered next door over that any day.

as I read the article, it seems in most of the spots the stock changes, suggesting to me that the sheep are in transport and that these places are more distribution points


unless they slaughter sheep any day of the week since Monday until whenever they feel like it?
 
The slaughtering must be done in one stroke without lifting the knife. The knife should not be placed and lifted when slaughtering the animal.

Pay a small amount attention to the context of the article.....

This is a residential area, not an area to distribute livestock from..... and then neighbours would also be complaining about vehicles constantly coming and going from the property.
 
People lived freely and peacefully with their livestock in Africa in the past, it's time this practice is restored so that we can be in harmony with mother nature again.

The family owed close to R5,000 in penalties for not complying with the city bylaw.
