Utter nonsense , Zebras are / was / were Striped to be nice things on the hoof for 'Togs to Graph and put the result on Canvas.

Hah hah hah!! I had always just thought they were striped 'cause nature has a sense of humour in these matters. What I have learned though is that I will wear striped clothing on my next field trip/hike and see whether the biting things leave me alone for a change! I usually get munched to hell and back - itch for days.
