That guy updates his icons very regularly, and updates them across most of his icon packs simultaneously. The above three are his best though imo. He supports many apps that most icon packs do not, like TrueMessenger, Brave Browser, FotMob Pro and some others. The main calendar apps (I use DigiCal+ and it's supported) display the date in their icon, as you can see in the screenshot above.

The longer I use my phone the less I want to fiddle and it must just be efficient and out of my way. Hence loving my Nexus with it's plain launcher.

Geez dude. Why are you using the godawful and resource hungry Twitter and Facebook apps? Get Fenix for Twitter and Swipe Pro for Facebook. Gmail sucks too; I recommend BlueMail. Also consider the Brave Browser - it's 100% identical to Chrome but blocks ads.
