Come to think of it, i wonder if the weather app is draining my battery because when i open it, there are fluffy clouds floating by.

Depends on your phone's horsepower.

Android 4.X is hardware accelerated graphics, so if you have a quad core phone, etc. I wouldn't worry

How often does the weather refresh? The more often the more damage to your battery life

I have a galaxy tab 2 so not a phone and only use wifi.


Oooh hell i think the weather refreshes when i activate the widget but surely its running in the background.

Nope, you can relax.

Widget only "wakes up" when it's refresh time.

Check your battery usage, weather widget is never in the top used apps. ;)
