Ended up going back to stock. Themer was wasting resources, phone is much faster after uninstalling it.

Clever man!

You get to a point where you've wasted enough time fiddling with your phone, and just want it to function as a ..... phone. :)

it was hardly noticeable but the phone is a bit more snappy and larger apps open a bit faster.

It uses about 43meg ram at all times even when not running one of their themes.

Some roms have crazy customizations also. If you use the root functions to the most then I would say its worth it. I use tasker alot and it makes my life a whole lot easier. You need root for tasker.

What phone do you use, I've been using Themer since back when you needed a code to use and I have zero problems with speed.

Nothing to do with the phone, more to do with the app running permanently in the background even if you are not using it.

Doubt it was just that. I had about 400 to 500 meg free at the time. The phone is just faster without Themer. Think it's just the 3rd party launcher that slowed things down.

LOL and Touchwiz? I hate that piece of wasted space above the dock, and below the lowest icons. Can easily fit another set of icons in there. And the icons are sooo big. Don't know why they can't have more rows, more columns, and adjustable icon size.

I'm happy with 5.
I suppose they leave the customisations to things like themer :)

I really don't mind the space. Means I don't press the wrong button by mistake for my more common tasks, same as the size.

Also the weather widget is easy to make transparent but as the S health one is not I leave it as is for conformity.
 
And that is in a nutshell why I prefer Android over other devices :)

You can get exactly what you want.
