It just just finished charging. And i was about to restart and clear cache to see if battery improves.

Restarting and clearing cache won't do a lot to help with battery life.

Still a no. You have absolutely no idea how I "abused" my S2 with roms, kernels, radios, etc, etc. Wiping cache and dalvik cache had no effect on battery life. If anyone says that it is purely placebo. It only helps for phone stability.

I would think a stable phone uses less battery power.
I assume you wiped the cache everytime you flashed a new rom, kernel or radio?

Well he didn't say anything about stability. He only mentioned battery, so he doesn't have stability issues. But what you are saying is not untrue.
When flashing different roms, the cache gets wiped in any case (especially custom roms) and it is to lay a stable platform.
I never bothered wiping with kernels. Some kernels does this automatically others not, but there is a zip I flashed that removed old kernel residue before flashing a different type of kernel. This was to maintain stability. EDIT: Just read in the Linaro kernel thread (from the dev) that it is useless to wipe cache when flashing kernels
Never bothered wiping cache when flashing radios.

Isn't it going to look worse then on a screen with a smaller resolution? Because it will have to squash the wallpaper in?

Not actually. The height of that particular resolution perfectly matches the height of the Nexus 5- so zero stretching and loss of quality from the picture.
It makes all the difference in the world. I'm having trouble uploading a screenshot to show this, mind. Will update when I can again.
