what i hate about LTE, when people phone you it rings a couple of times in there ear first, before it starts to ring on your side.
and i've experienced some terrible echo.
 
Only week 2 on new note 3, haven't had that issues yet.

From what I understand is that LTE is data only, it doesn't support voice yet. So each time you make or receive a call it switches back to 3G/H+ first. But then I might be wrong.

i think it actually converts to a VOIP call at vodacom and then gets rooted to you, hence the delay. but, also not sure. i have disabled my LTE on the phone. it saves battery, and if i need a speed boost when browsing, it takes 2 seconds to enable.
 
Noticed that mine always shows 3g/h+ just after a call before jumping back to lte. Havent seen much difference between lte ans 3g/h+ battery usage.
