It might strike one as being somewhat superficial but what put me off BlueMail is the poor scrolling effect when swiping left/right between mails.

SwiftKey still the best keyboard?
Prefer Google's gboard. Find the predictions and swiping a bit more accurate and I prefer the layout.
I don't scroll between emails like that, so it doesn't affect me. Drop the devs a message though. They had great communication when I contacted them a while back.
I still use Swiftkey. Sometimes I try another keyboard for a bit, but I always end up back on Swiftkey. Great layout, prediction, swiping, customisation, themes etc. Haven't found another keyboard that competes with it on all those aspects.
Edit: Just tried out Gboard. Google's keyboard has come a long way. I can't fault anyone for using it. Will give it a try myself for a bit.

Gboard don't predict when typing in URL/search box and in various other places. But I use it in Andropen, because SwiftKey delete words while typing.
Also no Afrikaans in Huawei devices (Gboard use system languages).

Gboard doesn't add a space after inputting punctuation. WTF? You can painlessly double tab space between most sentences, but doing it after a comma as I just did now is ridiculous for a 2017 keyboard.
I'm definitely noticing inferior prediction compared to Swiftkey. But it's still fun to use for now as something new. I do expect to be back on Swiftkey though.
Is that SMS in your dock?

I also have SMS in my dock, but I use the Pulse app. Makes messages look more like an instant messenger, without the bloody annoying avatars next to every message. Once I realised I used Pulse more than WhatsApp (I use Telegram 99% of the time), I switched them out. Now WhatsApp lives on the second homescreen.

@genetic Nice and clean - I like it. Maps must be a big part of your life for a spot in the dock.
I actually use Maps quite often - traffic mainly, but I do travel a lot.
I guess it beats putting Twitter or Facebook there - of which I use none. :/

this is something that has always irritated me with swiftkey... when i type an email address and it automatically puts a space
anyway, my typing is just more accurate with G Board for some reason. And it makes a good change from the normal SwiftKey experience.

Yeah, being able to type email and web addresses with Gboard is nice. Never understood how Swiftkey never fixed that. But those things don't typically have commas, so I don't get why Gboard needs to be so stupid.
