Thanks - I downloaded Zooper but it's just a tad frustrating trying to get the widget sizing correct so returned it. :o

It's a bit fiddly yeah but doable. Tablet or phone? When creating a widget I would start with just the single size and resize on the homescreen and resize within the app. Once you get the hang of it it's not a major...

Thanks sand_man - really appreciate the video. I downloaded the free version to see what's what and I got everything sized correctly but now half the fields consist of N/As, unknowns and question marks

Edit: for example current conditions is displayed as "Unknown"

Thanks again sand_man - it was the second one - the weather source.

I appreciate the help. I've only really been using android for the past few days (and the first 26hours consisted of non-stop updates :o)

Pleasure! Anytime!

Historically you've been heavily invested in iOS/OS X? What's changed? And what Android based device/s are you now using?

If you've been burdened with updates I'm guessing a Samsung of some description.

EDIT: I find Playstore downloads/updates to be a LOT quicker than AppStore. Not sure if it's a caching issue with Google Playstore caching locally but the difference is ridiculous!

Long story short my kid dropped her iPhone and got mine. WeFix isn't sure they can fix the broken one so I got my hands on a Moto Z and made the transition.

It hasn't been painless.

I'm still heavily invested in OsX and I miss a lot of the features I used to take for granted - airdrop, unified contacts/bookmarks/keychain/etc, shared apps, and so on.

Oh dear, sorry to hear.

Yeah, you'll probably have a bit of fun with the Moto before offloading it and getting yourself another iPhone.

There is so much scope for tinkering and playing on Android, quite distracting though. A lot of fun though.

There just so many more layers to it and that can be quite irritating and/or daunting. Zooper Widget case in point. Dig a little deeper, every element of every widget can be fundamentally altered, right there in the app.

I'll be using the Moto Z for the foreseeable future, so I intend on making the best of it. Right now I'm hoping Google releases a File Go app for OsX because I really miss AirDrop.

In that case enjoy it!!

There must be a suitable equivalent already available on Android. Maybe @backstreetboy knows of something. Theres a useful Android apps thread around here somewhere. Just chat find it at the moment...

Airdroid perhaps?
