Very cool...

Zenfone 2 with Google Now launcher. ZenUI launcher is too much.
The Huawei launcher and default wallpaper is the ugliest I have ever seen on a phone. Thankfully there's custom launchers.

Cubot X18 Plus. Stock Android with some typical MTK things that annoy me. Also have to bash the phone 4 times before taking pics as the AF module is stuck.

Still loving it.

Yes, MediaTek seems to feel that is the way things should be done. This phone is bang up to date on Android but still has some horribly outdated icons and the app drawer button.

Look at that crappy MTK FM Radio icon and the half resolution CUBOT Power icon (its blurry on 1080x2160).

Yet at the price, this is an incredible phone. I love it way more than my Zenfone. 64GB storage and 4GB RAM

About the background, for the first time in a long time it does not come from a phone, I took it today using a Nikon AW100 I picked up for cheap.

Well, easy solution with Nova Launcher Prime and custom icon packs.

If you want a very fancy (and battery neutral) live wallpaper, download the Alive app. Don't download frivolously if you're going to use the free access (limited downloads), but it's so cheap at $1 a year that you may as well just cough up if you like them. They look insane, so there's a good chance you will. I recommend starting with the blue jellyfish one.

LOL, some people feel Google is not skilled at designing a user interface. The way I see it, they have a somewhat successful search engine and a good OS too, so I think they know a thing or two about building UIs
i really like the material design. I use googles apps wherever i can

Lol, Even Google has a custom skin for vanilla Android. It's called Pixel UI.
