I did not know that, no! I'd be interested in putting that on my daughters OP6 which isn't rooted on account of her playing FN on it...

The gcam port game has become a bit of a monster! I'm on a telegram group for it and there must be close to a 1k posts every 24 hours! Impossible to follow!

So these only for OnePLus phones? I have tried so many ports for Samsung A51, but none of them work. Got close with one, but only video worked. It makes me so cross, we give Google our data for advertisement on their OS but they dont give us their Camera App which apparently makes great use of even low end cams to get great results. NO FAIR!

Your problem is the shitty Exynos that Samsung use in the EMEA region.

  • Mod compatible with modern Snapdragon SoCs. Some versions work on some Exynos, Kirin, and Mediatek phones, but usually with limitations.

As Dave has said, don't bother going for GCam unless you have a Qualcomm 600 and up that's ~4 years or newer.
