Ah ok, hmmm. Maybe browse the Cousins site I linked to earlier. I remember them selling movement display models that are much larger than what you'd find on a wristwatch.I want something big, like wall clock scale not wristwatch scale that I need a magnifying glass to look at

Really? Hmmm. I'm registered so didn't notice that as an issue. Might be worthwhile to register on the website anyway?it says I need to register to view
I get them from Amazon to be honest. You welcome to go have a look for something you like. I've got no issue combining a bunch. I have noticed that you don't really save that much when you bring more in, but go pick a few and PM me links. Every little saving helps hehe
Yeah that could be a challenge. I did find this if you have access to a 3D printer:I want something big, like wall clock scale not wristwatch scale that I need a magnifying glass to look at

Thanks, took me a while to pull the trigger but glad I eventually did. Was hoping for a price drop at some point but no luck. The sunburst on the face is lovely, better than my Kamasu. Fits my thin wrist very well, and the archer strap is great as expected.I really, really like that Laco!
Classy!!Laco Aachen has arrived

Overall I'm very happy. The 18mm strap width I'll need to get used to. The quality is decent, but it's really hard to beat the hammy for bang for buck imo.
Blue dial looks awesome. CongratsLaco Aachen has arrived

Any Seiko "collector" should have an SKX in his arsenal. This is the SKX009 which, in my mind, looks nicer than the plain SKX007. I managed to snag a proper made in Japan (SKX009J1) NOS one a while back, not the Malaysian ones we get here. What is strange, however, is that NOS 007's go for double the price of the 009's; I'd rather then build a 007 from scratch if I were to develop the desire to own one. Who would pay $700 for a NOS 007?! Madness...
I can't do rubber straps and while I wait for the dark blue canvas strap for this one, I thought I'd have a little fun with some Nato straps I had laying about:

In other news: There's an interesting full custom Seiko coming up in the next few days. I've been busy with it for a few weeks now. I really should start that DIY thread I've been talking about
Seiko 5 holiday watch. If I squint really hard, the dial resembles a JLC Navy Seals. At least, that was the logic in buying it
If I close my eyes? And if you close your eyes?![]()
Hahaha, amazing how tastes differ; I prefer the Pepsi bezel over the plain black one again.Agreed 100% on having an SKX, not a big fan of the Pepsi bezel though. I'm currently hunting an SKX013
