I have the option on a SKX013 at the moment. The watch isn't working (which is a non issue for me) but is otherwise in good cosmetic condition. Only issue is that the bezel has been replaced with an aftermarket one. The watch is cheap though, so I might just grab it in the hope of sourcing the correct bezel for it. It look lovely otherwise.

I know right? That's why I'm kinda still on the fence. Truth be told, I'd rather have an SKX011 as it looks more interesting.
 
Have both the 007 and 009, not sure which I like more. 007 currently on yellow leather nato which actually changes the whole feel of the watch. 009 a bit beat up and needs a service but will probably just get a replacement movement if I ever do anything to it.

For those of us that wanted to grab a few Vostoks, I suspect the window for doing so is closing rapidly. Not that I need one, but it is something interesting I want to add to my collection. I suppose it all depends on if DHL will still ship out of Russia (due to pressure from NATO on Russian foreign policy). Only thing that gave me pause in the past is that DHL shipping costs the same as the whole watch, so was hoping someone felt like a group buy; 4 watches should do it. Any thoughts? Granted, I haven’t been following the whole Russia / Ukraine situation very closely But many collectors are concerned at the moment

I wouldn't gloat. Your tribe is filled with the very worst examples of super-cringe associated with this hobby. I'll dig up some examples for the thread.

not gloating, just don't get why people would buy a look a like Rolex instead of another brand with a DIFFERENT design.

It's like not being able to afford a pair of Nikes so you go buy the fakes just to stunt

Just my personal opinion

What are the prices like that you can get on them from Russia? On Amazon they seem to go for around 2k+- for the Komandirski range.
