Seems a bit odd to compare usage numbers between the dominate player has been around for over a decade, and a new entrant that started out a few months ago...

I won 3 months worth of ShowMax over at MyGaming. And as much as I enjoy watching Community again, I have to do so on my pc. Since they don't support the XBox One. Not via an app or via its browser.

What's odd about comparing it to the industry leader? :confused:
 
doesnt support alot of devices, and still no bloody option on an Android media player to change the aspect ratio. Not even a stupid attempt at it

Well, if it was purely informational, then sure, nothing wrong. If you posted the Netflix stat to undermine Showmax's achievement, then it is a bit mischievous, as it is not a fair comparison to make
 
I still get lots of buffering with Showmax to the extent that it becomes unwatchable. If I switch over to Netflix immediately afterwards it's all smooth sailing, so I know it's not my internet connection.

While I don't get much buffering with ShowMax, Netflix is really brilliant at adaptive streaming. As far a buffering goes for me, Netflix never buffers, ShowMax rarely and Hulu quite frequently.

Naspers? The VC company that owns ShowMax? That has got nothing to do with how long ShowMax has been around.

Do you think (the few months old) ShowMax's numbers should be compared to ( the decade old) Netflix's numbers because the VC company that owns ShowMax is very old???
