Simple business software needed

Hey guys,

My dad uses MYOB to do is inventory and invoicing. But not the new version. He uses his version from 1994!!!

It keeps spitting out errors and "dictionary full" messages, so I believe it's time to move on for him.

He is an extremely small business, so I need something that is free that will do the following:

Cost of a product
Invoicing
Profit on a product
Inventory of said product.

That is basically it.

He just needs to invoice a product that shows the cost price of the product, and what he sells it for. Very basic stuff.

Would Palladium and quick books have these features?

You could check out odoo.com for open source software that can do the same thing ...

There is also TurboCash

Fully fledge accounting package, with SA English & Afrikaans.

Easy to install and configure.

Actually using TurboCash now for him. Working alright actually.

Just a super pain to import stock and contacts.
