Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a lead or an idea on some form of 'simple' task completion software? Heck if I could somehow create a shortcut to an editable pdf (that I could then have uploaded to our server) for use on android and ios that would be ideal but I know that's really being optimistic.

I work at a small school and task completion/ accountability is really an issue amongst our staff. I've tried most platforms that offer free versions for larger user bases (we have a 22 staff which click up will support on the free version of their software) of their respective software, so entities like ClickUp, Asana, Quire etc. The systems work but trying to get our technological challenged staff on board is an absolute nightmare.

All I'm looking for a is a system that allows me to create tasks for multiple teachers (that can't be signed off by one person, in the same way, click up/ quire allows) that can be signed off as 'complete' by said individual. An example being "Hand in term 1 calendars by next tuesday" and assign to grant, jack, fred and jane, all of whom can sign off each task individually, that's it. I need to be able to assign the same task to multiple individuals at once so I dont have to copy and paste the same instructions 20 times into new tasks.

Does anyone know of any free software or otherwise have any ideas regarding editable pdfs (that can collect data centrally) or any other system that I can distribute to both android and IOS devices? Heck I'll take anything at this point, even if it requires them filling out a physical form.

I know this is a big ask so my thanks in advance.

Rob

Trello works well for small teams of people doing things, depending on how technologically challenged your staff are, most of the problem I find with these kind of things, if they are already not doing the tasks assigned to them, they are sure as hell not going to learn to use something that tracks what they are not doing

Thanks we're working on that too!

You could consider this?

It is fairly new, but really works a charm.
If you put some time and effort in setting up your task/process flow designs beforehand, users/teachers, groups, tasks, flow hierarchy it can work for you.

And it's all on the Office365 cloud, in Jo'burg now, if you have a stable internet connection?
You can even source hardware too.

Oh, and it is free.
