Hi there

I have a DSTV Premium subscription. Can anyone tell me whether one can watch via a decoder as well as the two simultaneous DSTV Now streams that are allowed? Is the decoder stream counted as one of the two streams?

Where can I see which of my devices is streaming currently?

Thanks!

I don't think there is anywhere you can check which devices is using internet streaming. You can watch live TV on the decoder and 2 internet streams but if you stream catch-up for example then only one other internet stream.

OK, thanks. I thought so, but wasn't sure as only two of the family are currently streaming and one keeps getting kicked off. The only other user has the decoder.

Experiencing the exact same issue. If I try stream 2 devices at the same time it says maximum devices reached. I can only watch one at a time. DStv now live chat are as useless as can be at resolving issues when I contact them.

This is very strange! I have assigned 4 devices to the streaming service. Certainly your regular DSTV receiver does not count.

Right at this moment, we are watching channel 203 on the DSTV receiver, my one daughter is watching a movie on DSTV catchup and someone else is watching channel 123, the Michael Jackson story.

I understand that you should be able to assign 5 mobile devices, and I have DSTV now app on an iPad. When I try and link it, the message appears that states I should deselect another device

When speaking to MC, I always ask for the Xtraview dept. These guys are more au-fait with technical issues

To show how inept they can be, even though I pay annually in Feb each hear, one idiot said she could not answer my query or put me through since I was in arrear!

seems this has changed. i see popups on DSTVnow when it reached 2 connections (popup saying 2 limit reached)
