Singhs - Best curry in Cape Town

I just love this place. Best curry I've ever eaten and that includes Durban.

Just had their vegetarian bunny chow for lunch and it best my local favourite Sunrise Curry Den hands down.

They are in Thibault Square.

Their portions are VERY small. I had a salomie(sp?). The salomie at Miriam's around the corner from them is twice the size.
I bought from Singhs a day or so after they opened, but I will try them again though.

True that is not Frydays sized portions but the quality is excellent. My bunny chow was rather quiet filling for 1/4 size.

It is Durban style so unfair to both Miriam and Singh's to compare them on taste, but I would put them in the same class for quality.

Will consider them. Be a good excuse to go for a drive out that way.

cheap food doesnt do it for me ...buffets are cheap but when you get a parcel for the price of a chip roll

Singhs is definitely not better than Mariams.

Mariams is the only establishment that has survived many years in the CBD, most food places come and go.

Time will tell how good Singhs really is.
