Sinotec 'highly competitive' on quality

I have two Full HD LCD TVs, a Sinotec and an LG. The only difference between the two is the price...

I've had a Sinotec LCD tv for over a year now and it works pretty well. Plus they have a 5 year guarantee on it.

Had a Sinotec TV..their support is fantastic. The TV was awesome till I broke it during a move to my new place. The pic quality was good to, but the price was just right :)

How does the image quality of Sinotec LCD hold up against Sony or Samsung?

yeah, we don't need pretty adverts.

All I can say is this:
We need cheap, good quality LCD's and that's what Sinotec have given us.

When I bought mine it was cheaper than the big brands, but had more features too (usually cheaper products have less features - but not with Sinotec!)

I got:
42" instead of 32" (that's a lot, trust me)
Full HD instead of HD Ready
More HDMI Inputs (A Brandname competitor had less inputs, and was faulty with the PS3 too.....)
USB Inputs, which supports DivX playback.

More stuff, at a cheaper price? Simply amazing.

Other companies charge an arm and a leg, but not sinotec.
Where do you still see companies offering sooooooo much, at amazing prices, with great support and a 5 year warranty??? nowhere people.

Good work Sinotec, Keep pushing the HD Revolution forward, the right way!

I have a Sony Bravia 40" "Full-HD" break down on me last week..
Now I'd happily swop it out for a similar sinotech, because then I'd have another 4 years of warranty left, and let's face it, R15 000 is not pocket change to lose..

I have a 42" full HD LCD sinotec too.

It is no lie, it really is good value for money and the quality of the product is really great if not better then the famous brand names.

Great Product, great price and 5 year warranty. Nothing can beat it. Only problem I have is getting a 720p resolution on the TV from my laptop (through VGA). Not sure if its a laptop problem or TV problem.

Well I'm impressed. i like the fact that they're going to be putting a factory in South Africa because it will make warranty and prices so much better.

I also have a 720p 42" Sinotec. I think the picture quality is better than the known brands. I would also like to know how to make it work with the laptop. I suspect the laptop graphics card is the problem.

Sadly not, they are doing so in a bid to maintain their prices in the midst of the economic meltdown. This means that prices will stay the same, but when compared to rising international prices this is really competitive:)

I love mine- same as (and recommended by) Keeper's. Not only do we get cheaper units of comparable quality and with better features, but we also get LESS ADVERTISING!

I frikken hate ads.

Advertisments are for kark products that they cannot get rid of. Quality speaks for itself, and word of mouth cleans any BS flashy adverts.

Here's to low profile products that work. Who can argue with a 5year warranty (vs 2years on Sony)?

No negative comment up to so far. It really must be a good product. I'll get one meself end of this year. :) 42" big ass LCD Sinotech FTW.

I don't mind watching ads, but I don't like paying Brandnames R5000 more for the same thing so they can pay their ad campaign costs.

Don't get me wrong, i'm sure Samsung makes excellent quality displays, because they do - but I simply will not fork out that much more if i'm not able to tell a difference between display quality.

but yeah - I almost got a LG Scarlet because of LG's clever marketing and advertising campaign - it had faulty HDMI ports and was much more expensive
