I think mods will still be much better visually though. This release is more for the people who don't want to install 30 graphics mods with ENB.

I'm good HW wise, existing mods still work on the special edition so lets see where this goes.

I have the amazing The Witcher 3 still to properly play but I want to play the 3 year old Skyrim.

I don't think I ever finished the main story line back in 2013.

Yeah, first release in 2011 was only 5GB. Don't know how they managed it when other AAA games are hitting 20GB+

They cut all the textures down to low res, there was a patch on nexus mods within a day or 2 to download hi res textures which was like 4gb
