I think mods will still be much better visually though. This release is more for the people who don't want to install 30 graphics mods with ENB.
How big is it?
Download is around 9GB, unpacks to 12GB.
So the special edition is the remastered version?
And just to be sure, it includes everything, all DLC and patches etc?

As far as I am aware, Yes
2011 game. Thanks, I figured that would be the case.
I have the amazing The Witcher 3 still to properly play but I want to play the 3 year old Skyrim.
I don't think I ever finished the main story line back in 2013.
2011 game.
I can't forget, cost me 100 hours of my life.I don't remember it being that old, where does time go.
I only saw this:
Legendary Edition
NA: June 4, 2013[2]
EU: June 7, 2013[2]
not this:
WW: November 11, 2011[1]

Actually impressed it is this small for such a big game with so much to do
They cut all the textures down to low res, there was a patch on nexus mods within a day or 2 to download hi res textures which was like 4gbYeah, first release in 2011 was only 5GB. Don't know how they managed it when other AAA games are hitting 20GB+
