If you've heard it yet have you got any thoughts on the new album? Corey's mask looks lame, but other than that, the Maggot vibe is back. Better than duality IMO.
 
The topic isnt sensitive - its the whiny prissies moaning about them that are the sensitive ones...
 
Yeah good grief. If you honestly believe that they drove the kid to murder, you're gullible as heck. I've been listening to FAR heavier/stranger things than that pop-rock, for over a decade, and I'm pretty normal.

Slipknot was just the thing they blamed this killing on - they could not face up to the fact that they (Dept of Education) have failed to address the needs of the youth of South Africa. They always need a scapegoat and this time it was Slipknot.

You know we can never can blame government for anything. That would be so counter-revolutionary! Who the fsck says that anyway!

Goverment ??? Don't you think people should start with his parents before blaming the goverment ?

...but they are totally ridiculous are they not? I saw a pic of them accepting some music award. The masks and theatrics are pathetic. I can't figure out how people translate that to being cool.

Not everyone has reached a sufficient level of maturity, Waaib, and these are clear examples.

As for the government being to blame for school killings - please, that is nonsense. That responsibility belongs to the individual (the killer) and the parents who raised him.
 
I'm not saying the government is to blame for the killing. All im saying is that they needed a scapegoat to say why the killing happened and this time it was Slipknot.

Parents are responsible for bring up their children correctly but instead of saying that due to a lack of parenting skills (or close monitoring by the teachers) they say that the music is to blame.

Have you heard their music? I went onto their site..what utter cr@p. Anyone who listens to that has got some serious issues. :cool:
 
bring back being able to dish out a moer or two and watch discipline in schools come back ;)

Well in my opionion anyone who listens to Britney Spears has issues, everyone for their own, me I like slipnot but then I am rather a strange bunny :D
 
No seriously, the music coming for these guys really sucks bad.... I will kill someone listening to this k@k, cos it will drive me nuts :p
