Slow ADSL when the wind blows

All our cables are under ground, so I have no idea why the adsl slows down when the wind blows?

At some stage in the route back to the exchange (DSLAM) it is possible that you cable goes overhead (on poles) and that there is a faulty joint somewhere.

If not.... mighty confusing!

Yes, +1. I had exactly the same and was fixed when Telkom replaced the entire cable to my house
