Anybody having very slow international on Afrihost? I switched to my backup WA account and no issues.
 
I had a slow spike for a couple on minutes on MWEB...maybe something with the SEACOM cable again. Seems to have come right but MWEB does have full redundancy (if I remember correctly) so they might've switched over and that's why its come right. Perhaps there's still a fault with ISP's with little or no redundancy running on SEACOM?

Slow here as well, I don't know if it is slow because I am in the top 50 % and therefore getting shaped badly, but it is definitively slow.

Will check mine when I get home.
 
Mine is running beautifully. Capped account and getting 910kB\s from international. Downloading some service packs and a MSDN video.
 
I'm on capped afrihost, and internet has been very slow today.
Getting sub 200kbps speeds on my 10mb line.
 
afrihost, axxess, cybersmart and mweb all been very slow today, on 384, 1mb and 4mb, normal and business. must be seacom again...
 
Yeah, it's not just AH although AH does seem to have way more timeouts and slowness than the rest ....... meh, ass end of the internet again.
 
very slow here to, on AH in CPT.
I have only used 29% of my allocated 50GB, ??

Yup, definitely slow.
 
My Afrihost was also crap last night, everything back to normal this morning again.

Test conducted on Thu Aug 11 2011 06:55:55 GMT+0200 (South Africa Standard Time)

Download Speed: 3466 kbps (433.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 430 kbps (53.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 37 ms
