Hi all.
I have a strange problem on my laptop, that seems to be intermittent. When running a setup program it takes ages before the installation actually starts. With ages I mean a minimum of 5 - 10 minutes! And this is for small programs like Winzip, Daemon Tools, etc. I have installed other applications like Office 2007 and Photoshop CS4 which worked like a charm, but for the life of me I can't remember if that was before or after I installed Kaspersky....
I installed a fresh version of Windows 7 Professional about 3 months ago, and the laptop specs can't be the culprit as its a Dual core 2.26Ghz with 4GB RAM.
I've been thinking that it might be the Anti-virus for some or other reason? I am currently running Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. I had a problem with my bulk SMS program that stopped connecting after an update from Kaspersky.
Any help would be appreciated! It's getting VERY frustrating!
