Smart light switches

If you can, rather pull neutrals. Then more options in the future.

I now only have my funny light switches without neutrals as normal smart light switches don't fit them.

Thanks
Thanks for the advice. I'm not quite sure how many I want yet, but I'm in the process of compiling a list of electrical work I need done. Might as well add pulling neutrals to the list to see if that is possible.

Anyone tried these?
Recall seeing some guys who bought from eiferer.

Try posting in link below.

Yep cheapest. Negotiate for R100 a point since they there in any case.

R200 at the most as its a fairly quick job unless of course your conduits full or wires direct in the wall cement.

Yeah I paid R100 per point I pulled a week ago

I was about to say that I have my eye on this and it has been open in a tab for a week now

Screw it. Ordered 9 of these on special. Have an electrician who will do the neutrals if needed. Will report back

Fyi. There is another local tuya site, exact same look and feel from where i bought pir sensors.

So decent deal at half price i reckon

This doesn't require neutral. Uses capacitors?

Have no neutral in my place but have 8 smart life smart swtches... bought from Eiferer.co.za

Work really well, don't drop off the network and integrate into HA with no issues. Just remember to install the capacitor (included in the box)

Is there a neutral here?

Maybe @Tinuva or @Steamy Tom or @Geoff.D might be able to assist

But I doubt its neutral in there.

See a relevant thread below:

The black is the neutral, the reds are live (coming from the DB and going to the light fitting), stripped wires are earth. Cut a short black wire, connect it to the other side of the connector block and then run that to your switch if it requires neutral.
Safest to check with a multimeter. Better even, ask electrician to inspect.

Anyone know of a retail store that might have any sonoff or shelly smartswitches? even better if its on the east rand :)

Also check at Builders but they mostly Tuya app products eg connex and qualitel etc.

The Edenvale branch actually has a smart home demo area.
